This prototype uses a lead-acid mixture. There were no recharging stations, so batteries needed to be replaced much more often. Until then, batteries were made with nickel and cadmium, or lead acid. These components are much less dense than Li-ion, have a shorter lifespan, and must be recharged more often.

The lead acid version is priced at 52 K. So each of them can store about 0.15 This leads to my next hypothesis about the Click battery: it is most likely LTO chemistry. This makes fast recharging possible and provides high currents when needed. Unofficially it has a 1 kW motor. kWh of energy going in.

The hybrid models available today use lead-acid ornickel-metal hydride batteries that are are proven, reliable, and fairlycheap, but their limited storage capacity means that the cars’ driving rangeusing electricity alone is short.

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles. They leased a few (at a loss) to those that could afford it. We need an economy electric car that we an afford, not that nonsense.
