Honda would also develop an upmarket Acura ZDX crossover on the same platform—that one would be built by GM at the Lyriq assembly plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX are presentable, competent and competitive. GM would build the car for Honda alongside the Chevy in its Ramos Arizpe plant.

On July 16, Vertical Aerospace’s VX4 prototype completed the world’s first airport-to-airport flight by a full-scale, piloted winged tilt-rotor eVTOL designed for commercial service. The finished product was designed to accommodate one pilot and four passengers or cargo, depending on the configuration.

Developed by Honda R&D, the new 10AT features a low-friction design, which will deliver outstanding drivability in new Honda and Acura vehicles. It will appear first in upper grades of the all-new 2018 Honda Odyssey minivan, launching this spring, and will be applied to additional light-truck and car models in the future.

Hachigo joined Honda in 1982, and began his career in its automobile research and development operations, principally as an engineer in the area of chassis design. Hachigo was in charge of developing the first-generation of the US-built Odyssey minivan, which was launched in 1999 primarily for the US market.
