The Mercedes-Benz eActros heavy-duty electric truck, with a range of up to 200 km, is in intensive use by customers in Germany and Switzerland as part of the eActros “innovation fleet”. At Daimler Trucks & Buses we are clearly committed to the goals of the Paris Climate Protection Agreement and thus to the decarbonization of our industry.

All of this shows that we are fully committed to climate protection. I can assure you and our customers: We will fulfill the tough European CO 2 regulations for 2020 and 2021. This year alone, we will reduce our European fleet target by around 20 percent. And, we will not use any rare earths in the electric motor.
