For Volkswagen fans the wait was worth it, especially those familiar with the excellent e-Golf, which was discontinued after 2019. To see how this would work, Volkswagen agreed to let Clean Fleet Report take the ID4 on a 985-mile California Cruising road trip. The balance was very neutral, making for a pleasant ride quality.
