At Daimler Trucks & Buses we are clearly committed to the goals of the Paris Climate Protection Agreement and thus to the decarbonization of our industry. The first hand-off to a customer was in 2018. In addition, all European Daimler Trucks & Buses plants will be CO 2 -neutral by the year 2022. All other plants will follow.

We reached our environmental target of producing our vehicles 25 percent more sustainable by 2018 before the date set. In future, not only compressed air systems, cold networks and cooling towers but also ventilation and lighting systems are to be reviewed at all locations with a view to achieving further savings.
