Petrobras awards Technip/DOF Subsea JV ~$3.5bn in contracts for four new pipelay support vessels; ultra-deep water capabilities

Vard Holdings Limited, one of the major global designers and shipbuilders of offshore and specialized vessels, will be in charge of the design and construction of the four PLSVs. Two of the vessels, of VARD 3 05 design, will be delivered in 2Q 2016 and 3Q 2016 respectively. Delivery of the PLSVs is scheduled for 2016-2017.

NuScale Power receives US NRC design approval for small modular reactor

NuScale’s DCA was completed in December 2016 and accepted by the NRC in March 2017. NuScale has signed agreements with entities in the US, Canada, Romania, the Czech Republic, and Jordan. This is what DOE’s SMR Program was created to do, and our success is credited to strong bipartisan support from Congress.
