ST Kinetics’ autonomous buses will be one of the first in Singapore to operate on public roads.

Singapore Airlines (SIA), in partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore ( CAAS ), has started operating a series of 12 “green package” flights over a three-month period on its non-stop San Francisco-Singapore route. In May 2011, CAAS and SIA launched regular ASPIRE flights on the Los Angeles-Singapore route.

Sony Corporation, the company that in 1991 commercialized the world’s first lithium-ion battery, and Murata Manufacturing have entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding that confirms their intent to negotiate the transfer of the Sony Group’s battery business to the Murata Group. Sony has operated its battery business since 1975.
