In 2015, Taiwan-based Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd., Tencent and China Harmony Auto Holding began a partnership to develop connected, electric cars. Tencent also just signed a $4.65-billion billion loan deal, Reuters reported. Tencent reported net profit of $5.97 billion last year, up 43% on a 48% increase in revenue.

Two hundred connected and all-electric scooters produced by Gogoro, a leading eScooter brand, will be available for the launch in Berlin. The company is already working on solutions for connected parking management, cloud-based fleet management, and app-based mobility assistants that support the multimodal use of different types of transport.
