The stimulus package is designed to address the recession and in the short term people were anxiously awaiting two key components of the plan: clarification on the details behind “ grants in lieu of tax credits ” and awards of loan guarantees by the DOE from section 1705. We cannot afford to wait for them and we don’t have to. And we can’t afford another big monthly payment anyway. Seems like a perfect use for some stimulus money, don’t it? I’m ready to start right now. And our homes are worth less now and nobody wants to lend us any more.
