The car is powered by a 330V 16KWh Li Ion battery pack from GS Yuasa Corporation which drives a 47KW Permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces 133 foot pounds of torque. In Eco (economy) the motor output is limited to about 45bhp reducing the current flow from the batteries and extending range. The steering is light but precise.
