When Auto Start-Stop debuts in North America, it will be available on gasoline-powered cars and utilities with either a manual or automatic transmission as well as vehicles that use Ford’s patented dual-clutch six-speed automatic transmission. Mercedes-Benz presented the new B-Class F-CELL, its first (limited) series production fuel-cell powered electric vehicle available in the US ( earlier post ), at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Selected customers will take delivery of the first lease vehicles before the end of 2010. A typical full-service monthly lease rate will be $849 excl.
