The US Department of Energy (DOE) has released One Million Electric Vehicles by 2015 , a short status report on advances in deployment and progress to date in meeting President Obama’s goal of putting one million plug-in electric vehicles (PEV) on the road by 2015. 10,000 Think City electric cars in 2009. Parts manufacturing in Thailand and Turkey. Think says it has battery supply contracts with three companies, and is moving into production. If Think can begin making thousands of cars per year in 2009, I suspect there won't be much competition for years.
