Eaton Corporation displayed its electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and Eaton-branded Mitsubishi Innovative Electric Vehicle (iMiEV) car. Eaton’s quick charger can recharge the iMiEV to 80% of battery capacity in 25 minutes. Schneider Electric currently has pilots and partnerships underway in North America and Europe.

At least GM sent this nifty printed banner explaining all about the new J1772 industry standard recharging plug. The Mitsubishi i-MiEV, only here because SCE is testing it. Fleet vehicles typically get crappy mileage and cost the fleet owners too much money in fuel and maintenance.
