Renault Group and Phoenix Mobility , a Grenoble-based company specializing in the conversion of commercial vehicles to electric power, have signed a letter of intent to form a strategic partnership for the development and commercial operation of a retrofit kit, the first of its kind in the French LCV market.

The All American "Spirit of DC" was joined in PluginSolutions row by Todd Barlow's Green Motors' PHEV with 4kW lead acid battery pack and Phoenix Electric Auto Association President, Jim Stack's 10kW "Big Kahune" Li-ion pack, which is capable of a 30-40 all electric range, and clearly demonstrates the capability of 101MPG assisted by electricity.
