Why might the top-selling EV in Japan make a lot of sense in U.S. A recent drive of the Nissan Sakura , the bestselling EV in Japan, had us seeing how smaller EVs might help us work with the infrastructure we have rather than hung up on the issues of charging super-size heavyweight EVs. big cities too?

Glad to see the variety & availability of electic commuter cars (vs hybrids & PHEV) is rising. As far as quick, Id give my left nut to own a Wrightspeed EV, so I could (quietly) blow the doors off Porsches and Ferraris. Lastly, hybrids & plug-in hybrids are an unfortunate diversion. Does that bother you?
