True Zero , which operates the world’s largest network of hydrogen charging stations, has powered two-million miles of zero-emission driving on California roads 60 days after reaching its first million miles. Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai have also announced plans to begin retailing a fuel cell car in the near future.

Retail hydrogen-station operator True Zero reported that it has powered more than 1,000,000 zero-emission miles by fuel-cell vehicles. The achievement of a million miles comes as a result of automakers, including Toyota, Honda, Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz expanding their fuel-cell-vehicle programs.

After driving the 2023 Genesis GV60 Performance AWD for about 40 miles, she emphatically said this is the car she wants. Case-in-point is the all-new GV60 EV, which followed its cousins, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 (2020), and the Kia EV6 ( 2021). The Advance can go 248 miles while the Performance is rated by the U.S. EPA at 235 miles.

I think we have 22 or 24 buses in the San Diego area, and we have another deployment underway in the Los Angeles Unified School District, where we are initially deploying 24 as well. Many including San Diego Unified, LA Unified. Kia, Hyundai will be launching bidirectional-capable vehicles.

Hyundai will introduce a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle to the market in 2012, according to Dr. Byungsoon Min, of Hyundai Motor Company R&D Center, presenting at the SAE 2010 Hybrid Vehicle Technologies Symposium in San Diego this week. Hyundai will launch its full parallel hybrid Sonata in the US this year.
