The plant, formerly the Michigan Truck Plant and the production site for Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigators SUVs, is one of three North American light truck plants Ford is retooling to build fuel-efficient global small cars in the coming years. The 2.866 million square-foot plant was built in 1957.

The $6000 Plus pack brings a panoramic sunroof, full power operation of the front seats, heated rear seats and wireless phone charging. Our first combatant is the Tesla Model 3.

I asked her about start-ups that she has liked, She talked of Bolt, which is setting up charging stations for two wheelers using 15 A plug points. There is a green light that lights up on a panel placed in front of the operator then the correct torque has been achieved. These guys dock and charge on their own.

This range-topping Kia EV9 GT-Line’s RRP is $121,000, then adds quite ridiculous $18,000 (in Queensland) on-road charges, pushing the bill to $139,000 drive-away. Perhaps the brothel-like red ambient light (see below) didn’t help matters, but you can choose from 64 alternative colours. For you NSW lot, it’s $140,200.

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles.
