At 0600 hrs, gobbled down 3 sandwiches, a cake, a brownie and some pineapple juice. Though it looks very cool when clean, by the time we finished our drive, it had been caked with a light coating of roadside mud and had lost some of its allure. We then followed Google maps on to the Nashik highway via Thane. We were good to go.

Followed Google Maps to hit Hosur road - and from then on the Maps was switched off. Karthik informed us that an AC charger is more of a comfort blanket - as it would save us only a few minutes of charging time. Also, there is a blue LED that lights up below the appropriate gear as soon as it is selected.

So while my car is powering the great city during the day how will I have juice to drive home at the end of the day? Does it, in essence, come down to the fact that V2G takes advantage of battery storage that would exist anyway , as opposed to requiring batteries specifically for the purpose of storing night-time electricity?
