Unlike conventional fuel manufacturing, e-fuels are synthesized from green hydrogen—produced by water electrolysis using renewable electricity—and carbon dioxide, resulting in 80% lower lifecycle emissions. We look forward to working closely with our colleagues in Aramco and Hyundai on this exciting project.

It isn't just Hyundai and Kia in deep water over misleading MPG claims--now Ford is the subject of a lawsuit over the MPG of its hybrid models. The federal lawsuit concerns the fuel economy of its most recent hybrid models, the C-Max Hybrid and Fusion Hybrid.

Kia unveiled three major hybrid offerings at the Chicago Auto Show: the 2017 Niro Hybrid Utility Vehicle; the new Optima Hybrid; and the new Optima Plug-in Hybrid. Because the high-voltage battery is both power and energy dense, engineers were able to use the downsized gasoline engine to maximize fuel economy and reduce emissions.

The dash layout is logical, simple and clean, with three round gauges (tachometer, speedometer and water temperature/fuel) with black faces and white letters were easy to read. This is respectable fuel economy for an AWD, 4,400-pound, six-passenger crossover. Road Test: 2021 Kia Telluride. Smooth yet grippy.

If you opt for the automatic, the fuel economy is rated a bit better at 21/30/25. But let’s get real here, who will be buying the BRZ to squeeze miles from every tank of fuel? This is bordered on the right by a programmable display for water temperature, clock, fuel, amps and a G-meter display.
