The generated solar power will be stored in stationary Kreisel batteries (1,000 kWh) to secure the continuous power supply for building and charging stations. The last section of the building will host the software and engineering development and the offices. Kreisel has also swapped out VW’s 24.2 from 120 to 267 miles.

In contrast, internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles can only refuel at a gas station licensed to handle and store an inflammable liquid. Level 1 (120v) charging is practical when a charge of approximately 5 mph is acceptable, while Level 2 and Level 3 must be utilized for a faster charge. In California, it is 134 mpg.

The Digital Premium package through the BMW Operating System 9 will include access to its ConnectedDrive store with third-party apps. The platforms can be mounted with a pickup or van body, and even a passenger design for a taxi. The RS touts 1,000+ hp with 0-60 mph under two seconds and a top speed of 200 mph.

The fleet of fifty ix35 Fuel Cell cars will be available in Munich’s city centre and also in the areas of Schwabing, Haidhausen, Au and Glockenbachviertel. We expect to gain valuable information from day-to-day fleet operations which we will use to further develop our hydrogen technologies and to help expand the hydrogen infrastructure.

These fuel cell vehicles will be leased to key public and private fleet users in the capital. The ix35 has a 100kW fuel cell stack that delivers power to a 100 kW, 300 N·m (221 lb-ft) electric motor with reducer for 0-62 mph acceleration in 12.5 seconds, a 100 mph top speed and a range of 369 miles (594 km).

Another strikingly different concept evidenced by the PHEV is that it is essentially a large, portable battery that can store energy gathered during one part of the day, and then use it later to power not only itself but also the vehicle owner’s home. In addition, we need no more biofuel than what is currently in production now.
