Daimler Trucks, Accelera by Cummins, and truck maker PACCAR will build a huge battery cell factory for electric trucks in Mississippi. The companies have selected Marshall County, Mississippi, southeast of Memphis, for the joint venture’s factory, which will localize battery cell production for commercial electric trucks.

The Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy (DMME) and Virginia Clean Cities (VCC) at James Madison University (JMU) are requesting proposals from fleets in the southeastern US interested in converting eligible gasoline vehicles to run on propane autogas. All eligible public or private fleet operations are welcome to apply.

According to the report, the Waymo vehicle was at a full stop at the four-way intersection of 17th and Mississippi in Potrero Hill, with a large truck turning into the intersection. California, too, has made a prime location for the human-less fleet in that robotaxis are immune from receiving moving violations.

The giant miscanthus was developed at the University of Mississippi and provided from a high yield plot by Repreve Renewables. The company has received California (CARB) and US EPA approval for fleet testing as a splash blend with conventional pump gasoline. CoolPlanet’s pilot facilities can support several fleet tests.
