They are either glorified golf cart city cars like this one or they are only for the very wealthy like the Tesla. We have those…they are readily available in our own domestic fleet. Blending the MPG of SUVs and small cars understates the real consumption and rewards automakers for building gas hogs and unsafe micro cars which makes people want to buy "safe" gas hogs. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. Oh, and it looks wayyyyy cooler than the Volt.
