The company plans to do it with a mixture of all-electric vehicles, like the new XC40 Recharge, and plug-in hybrid versions of its SUVs and sedans. The XC90 Recharge is an example of the second group. Out on the road where the XC90 Loves to Live. It also adds 111 lb.-ft Adding up to full luxury.

Clean Fleet Report got a chance to sample the model at a recent media event in San Diego. The recharging process can be viewed on a dash gauge. The driving range in pure electric mode is short, so best save that battery juice for parking garages or sneaking in late at night. The last four have a contrasting black roof.

Since its October launch, we’ve only seen it drop $100 lower during occasional short-term events, like its most recent February flash sale.

I’ve still got 200km range remaining so have seen no reason to plug the Taycan in yet. I’ve plugged the Taycan in to my garage’s 10A power point. The understated choice, perhaps, for those not wanting to stand out too much in a Taycan. Porsche doesn’t really do ‘entry-level’, does it?

We’ve recently covered the pre-order special for the all new XP Lite 2.0 Folding e-bikes , which will end as the series begins shipping out in July.
