7 series-hybrid Solaris buses to Z?bkowice ?l?skie; supercaps for energy storage

Solaris will supply seven Urbino 12 series-hybrid buses to Z?bkowice ?l?skie, Poland by 31 July 2020. The buses will serve on routes of the new public transport lines to be established in the municipality. The seven 12-meter buses feature a series-hybrid drive consisting of a 120 kW electric motor and a 151 kW diesel engine meeting the highly restrictive Euro 6 standards.

The findings highlight fading economic opportunity as a driving factor in the ongoing opioid epidemic in the US, and build on previous research that links declining participation in the labor force to increased opioid use.

Tesla Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai is currently producing about 1,500 vehicles per week. Tesla's currently hiring to ramp to more than 3,000 Model 3 a week. Made-In-China (MIC) Model 3 deliveries to non-Tesla employees will start January 2020. By mid 2020, 70% of MIC Model 3 components will be locally sourced, with a goal to fully source its components locally toward the end of next year.

AFC Energy launches alkaline fuel cell H-Power EV charger system

UK-based AFC Energy launched its H-Power electric vehicle (EV) charger based on alkaline hydrogen fuel cell technology. The self-contained charging system overcomes issues associated with poor grid coverage to provide rapid electric vehicle (EV) charging anywhere it is needed. In the UK, a recent study commissioned by Scottish Power found that to meet EV deployment targets, almost £100 billion (US$131 billion) of new investment is required to upgrade the network and deploy dedicated EV charging
