(Petrobras) has awarded the joint venture formed by Technip (50%) and DOF (50%) has eight contract covering the construction of four new pipelay support vessels (PLSVs) and operation in Brazilian waters to install flexible pipes. Two of the vessels, of VARD 3 05 design, will be delivered in 2Q 2016 and 3Q 2016 respectively.

European production capacity could increase to up to 700,000 units per year as production of the new small EcoBoost engine at Cologne is joined by Ford’s new engine plant in Craiova, Romania, in manufacturing the new 1.0-litre Nearly 100 new machining units and a 580-meter purpose-built assembly line have been installed.
