As part of this initiative, Google.org awarded $1 million in grants and announced plans for a $10 million request for proposals (RFP) to fund development, adoption and commercialization of plug-ins , fully electric cars and related vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology. Once Tesla is granted a Certificate of Conformity for Model Ys that are set to be produced at Gigafactory Texas, the automaker will be able to deliver the vehicles to customers. Therefore, the Model Y from Texas will have ratings that are substantially different from previous builds from Fremont. I’d love to hear from you!
