But whereas the EV6 is based on a dedicated EV architecture, the Niro relies on an ICE platform to allow for the petrol engine for the hybrid model. Kia Niro EV GT-Line is capped at around 100kW for charging. The Niro has the industry standard CCS combo plug that utilises the Type 2 system for slower AC charging.
