Ford electrified vehicle sales grew 184% in May, achieving a new electrified vehicles sales record of 10,364 vehicles. Sales of Ford’s Mustang Mach-E totaled 3,739 vehicles in its first full month on the market. With the fully electric Mustang Mach-E, Ford F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid and Escape and Explorer hybrids, overall electrified vehicle sales rose 56.1% Retail sales were up 7.9%. SUV sales were down 10.2% to 8,516 units.

Ford Motor Company sales rose 5% in total US sales in April with 222,498 vehicles sold. Retail sales grew 7%, while fleet sales were up 1%—the company’s best April retail sales in nine years. This included record sales of the all-new Edge, up 78%, and Escape up 5%.
