Fuji Electric Corporation of America will introduce a new generation of UL-Certified 25kW DC Quick Charging Stations for electric vehicles, offering a slimmer, sleeker version to suit a wider variety of applications and site locations. The new model will be available for sale in North America in February 2013.

The Fisker Ocean all-electric luxury SUV ( earlier post ) will make its public debut at Consumer Electronics Show 2020 in Las Vegas. Fisker also announced a partnership with Electrify America, the largest, open DC Fast charging network for EVs in the United States.

Electrify America will invest in metro-based direct current fast charging (DCFC) stations in 18 metro areas, including these new metro areas in Cycle 2: Atlanta, Baltimore, Honolulu, Las Vegas and Phoenix. Metro DCFC stations will be placed in retail locations and are intended to serve EV drivers in their daily fueling needs.

Mercedes-Benz EQC electric crossover makes US debut at CES 2019

The first Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle from the EQ brand made its US premiere at CES 2019 in Las Vegas. It is faster with DC charging—which is standard for the EQC, with a suitable market-specific plug—for example via CCS (Combined Charging Systems) in Europe and the USA, CHAdeMO in Japan or GB/T in China.
