Utah Blink was chosen by the Utah Division of Purchasing for Contract AR4038 to supply EVSE for government, non-profit, K-12, and higher education agencies in Utah. Similar to Colorado, when any government agency in Maryland wants to buy EVSE, it will be from Blink, their trusted electrification partner.

On the utility side, Rocky Mountain Power offers incentives to commercial customers in Utah that cover 75% of the costs, ranging from $1,000 per Level 2 charger up to $42,000 per multiport DC fast charger. Georgia Power offers $500 per Level 2 charger. These are just a few examples.

Especially for DC fast chargers that deliver more power to the vehicle in less time, kWh pricing is the equitable solution for billing drivers for actual energy used. The Department of Revenue may grant dealer-users permission to report annually, subject to specified criteria. Utah is set to implement a new kWh tax in January 2024.
