Chrysler says that the Pentastar will provide an average fuel efficiency improvement of up to 7% across the model range—overall corporate fuel efficiency is targeted to improve by more than 25%. Some parts, including the exhaust manifolds, will completely disappear by virtue of being cast directly into the cylinder head.
