Rolls-Royce will ensure a climate-neutral energy supply at the container terminal currently under construction at the Port of Duisburg, Germany. The waste heat is used for process heat or for heating buildings in and around the port.

In the future thyssenkrupp’s electrolysis plants will be able to act as large-scale buffers to stabilize the power grid and compensate fluctuations quickly and flexibly. Operators can now link their plants to the German electricity market via E.ON’s virtual power plant. With this we have achieved a further important goal.

Sales in Germany and other European countries begin in fall 2020 at a base price of €30,705.88. The cylinder head, injection system, turbocharger and catalytic converter were modified accordingly for the CNG engine. There are currently some 850 CNG gas stations in Germany. Audi first introduced an A3 Sportback g-tron in 2014.

In Germany, all Mercedes-Benz plants will be supplied with CO 2 -neutral energy. From 2022, the production of our Mercedes-Benz plants in Germany will operate CO 2 -neutral. Already existing highly efficient gas CHP systems additionally generate local heat and power at the factories. The plant will start operating in 2019.

The e-gas project consists of two main components: Audi is contributing to the construction of offshore North Sea wind turbines which will generate clean power,that is then fed into the public power grid. Audi wants to use green power to produce and also operate its electric-drive e-tron models in the future.
