GM started production of its first electric pickup, the GMC Hummer EV, just before Christmas, and said customer deliveries of the 2022 model would start, although no further news announcements have come out. These European designs are perfectly good EVs, although their limited battery range and high price compared to the gasoline versions are major drawbacks. GM is bringing back the Hummer brand as an EV within the GMC brand. Sometimes an EV is introduced as a model but is then converted into a sub-brand. I’m hoping for the latter.
