Wind-to-Hydrogen Tech Goes to Sea

Cars That Think

Wind and solar parks produce a large portion of their energy. Then, as now, wind farms are operating off the world’s coasts—but not all of these offshore sites are connected to the mainland via underwater power cables. Some of the wind farms instead sit in clusters more than 100 kilometers out at sea.

Why Bidirectional Charging is The Next Big Thing for EV Owners

Wallbox

This conversion is carried out by either the car’s own converter or a converter located in the charger. This means that they can handle the electrical conversion back from DC to AC. For instance, solar panels clearly capture the most energy during the day, wind turbines when it is windy, and so on. But how does this work?
