Some of my friends swear that if you cut me, I’ll bleed gear oil. Neither of them taught me that the two were connected to each other. In the seven counties I have chosen to serve, there are oil fields, windmills, solar farms, and even a hydroelectric dam. My grandfather taught me many things, including respect for Mother Earth.

While government data suggests the retail price of electricity is somewhere around 10 cents per KWH, the addition of taxes and fees puts the price somewhere aorund 16 cents per KWH on my electric bill. The price goes up with demand and usage. Ultimately, some believe a cost, not price, of $0.25 might be achievable.
