The rider can adjust the degree of pedal assistance with ease via the new display; four different power modes (from ECO (+50%) to TURBO (+275%)) can be selected up to a maximum 25 km/h (16 mph). The BMW Active Hybrid e-bike is now available from selected BMW dealers, with a manufacturer’s recommended retail price of €3,400 (US$4,025).

In the future, Hyundai dealers will offer a simple automobile subscription service for IONIQ shoppers. An IONIQ 5 with this configuration can go from 0 to 60 MPH in less than 5 seconds. All configurations have a top speed of 115 MPH and can tow a trailer with a capacity of up to 1,500 pounds.

Having already established a strong reputation with its Kona SUV and Ioniq sedan EVs, next up is the all-new and impressive 2022 Ioniq 5 EV, arriving at Hyundai dealers later this month (December 2021). Hyundai calls this the Smart Living Room concept. Electronically controlled top speed: 115 mph. Single electric motor.

The biggest obstacle for those who would prefer an alternative has been lack of purchasable plug-in electric vehicles since 2003 when auto manufacturers ceased production of plug-in EVs like the GM EV1, Honda EV Plus, and Toyota RAV4-EV. Top speed is electronically limited to 152 km/h (95 mph).
