Elon Musk’s The Boring Company (TBC) has started discussing potential tunneling projects in Austin and San Antonio with city officials. Austin’s Development Services Department (DSD) told KXAN that The Boring Company proposed a tunnel in Austin and wanted to understand the permit requirements for the project.

UPS plans to purchase approximately 700 liquefied natural gas (LNG) trucks and to build four refueling stations by the end of 2014. An initial investment of more than $18 million to build fueling stations will be supported by the purchase of the 700 LNG tractors and continued expansion of the natural gas fleet in the US.

Howard closed on the purchase of Javelina in February of this year. The company has corporate offices in San Antonio, Houston and Monterrey, Mexico. This hydrogen is currently sold back to refineries and other industries where it is used to remove impurities such as sulfur during the refining process.

A report from My San Antonio said the airport hadn’t been developed at any capacity and the “conceptual plans are circulating now and there is no estimated timetable for construction on the airport.” Musk was rumored to be building an airport for personal use somewhere east of Austin, near the town of Bastrop.
