Arc is a very new company – it was founded in 2021 in Los Angeles, and is targeting the luxury boat market with high-powered electric boats. The company has since grown to over 100 employees, and the company boasts that many are former SpaceX, Tesla, and Rivian workers (like, well, every other electric startup).

And in the last two weeks, one of the largest utility companies in the United States, Pacific Gas & Electric, announced plans to work with General Motors in experiments with their bidirectional charging technologies. In case of power outage at home, the DC pins in the charger can send juice back into the house, keeping the lights on.

Ok, let me correct myself, state head of Tata E Mobility - as of 1-Jan-22 the unit has been spun off into a separate company, after the billion dollar funding. The company is in the middle of evaluating which of the models to electrify next. My suggestion to the company would be to actually build a grounds-up EV.

But GM says it wont get the money until the Obama administration is satisfied the company is financially viable. GM killed that car because of back room deals with oil companies, and now they expect us to believe that they are just so cutting edge now? Gotta love a company that blows nearly 2 billion a year on PR and advertising!
