Many things have passed through my mind over the past year and a half while converting this vehicle. Here goes (in no particular order): Things That Went Well During the Conversion The 914 AC kit from Electro Automotive is a good one. I even received a few posts from Mike Brown at Electro Automotive, the designer of the kit.

If the 12V battery is dead, you need a small 12V battery (9V would probably work) to activate the DC-DC converter relay to bootstrap the 12V charging process. I'm getting more involved with the OEVA club. If I don't get elected co-chair next Thursday, I'm going to start an open-source EV conversion kit sub-group within the OEVA.

The 4-wheel anti-lock brakes with ventilated discs were part of the regenerative charging system, an energy recovery process taking the usually wasted friction and heat from braking or coasting, and converting kinetic energy into stored energy. Big spindle. Exterior Refinement.

The Escape PHEV uses regenerative braking, which converts kinetic energy into electric energy and stores it in the battery when applying the brakes or coasting. EV Later mode gives drivers the option to drive in full gas-hybrid, and conserve a certain percentage of electricity for later use. EV Charge mode charges the battery while driving.

The four-wheel power-assisted disc anti-lock brakes are part of the regenerative charging system that converts kinetic energy into electric energy and stores it in the battery when applying the brakes or coasting. Access to the cargo area, with tie downs, lights, a first aid kit and under-floor compartments, is through a power lift gate.
