Drive Electric’s OEM members tell us that this legislation, which enables a consumer incentive on low emissions vehicles, by applying penalties on high emissions vehicles, enables New Zealand importers of new vehicles to engage their international headquarters and order cleaner vehicles, including more electric vehicles. Vans: 147 g CO2/km.

CO2 from cars does not contribute to smog and is not harmful to human health but it is one of the leading contributors to global warming. Both cars will be subject to the new CARB rules, but GM and Toyota should have no problem affording the rigorous tests or financing the warranty requirements.

As more renewables come online, battery electrics just keep getting cleaner and greener.

If we do not prepare ourselves, we risk becoming the dumping ground for the world’s dirtiest right hand drive vehicles, instead of a quick adopter of better, cleaner technologies. . GM has announced that by 2025 they will introduce 30 new EV models and by 2035 they will only retail electric vehicles. . This will happen from 2030.

Several global indicators on the supply of oil and the known carbon pollution environmental damages its caused all lead us to find cleaner ways of transportation. I am more reminded of Segway, or that GM thing that Segway helped them build. There is significant cause vs. effect debate on CO2. We have oil!

like i said in the first place, for me, this makes me think of one step in the right direction and makes me think of a greener cleaner future. Nuclear waste is a problem much harder to solve than CO2, and dams have quite an impact in the environment. excluding coal power in china. lol BUT everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
