Ford will offer the 2014 F-150 with the ability to run on compressed natural gas, making Ford the only manufacturer in the US with an available CNG/LPG-capable half-ton pickup. liter V6 F-150 is equipped with a CNG/LPG engine package, it is capable of achieving more than 750 miles on one tank of gas, depending on the tank size selected.

The refueling network has been financially supported by Innovate UK, Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) and the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU). ITM Power has signed a fuel contract with Honda (UK), which will purchase hydrogen at £10/kg (US$12.91/kg). The Honda Fuel Cell Clarity has a hydrogen tank capacity of 5.46

The station, which has been supported by Innovate UK, currently offers hydrogen gas at 350 bar. The station will be upgraded early 2016 to provide hydrogen at 700 bar as a result of funding from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV).

A Florida car dealer set a mission to drive 1,100 miles in a Toyota Prius, which had been modified as a plug-in hybrid, while burning as little petrol as possible. The trip was sponsored by Florida Toyota dealer Earl Stewart to show the need for clean emission vehicles.

CVRAS provides a single validation standard for any emission technology to meet the standards set out in the government’s Clean Air Zone Framework for England. Data from the three tailpipe emissions tests will be averaged to yield a mean result. The scheme will also provide the backbone of future retrofit funding.
