Today's Junkyard Find is a first-generation B-van, found in a Colorado boneyard. The build tag says it was built at St. Such luxury! Next stop: The Crusher !

Here's one of those first-generation Fairlanes, found in a self-service boneyard just south of Denver, Colorado. There's a lot of great vintage stuff at Colorado Auto & Parts right now. The build tag tells us that this car was assembled at Ford's Kansas City plant on July 14, 1964 (the day Jaxques Anquetil won the Tour de France ).

Chrysler Group LLC reported total US sales for July 2009 of 88,900 units, a decrease of 9% year-on-year, although up 30% versus June 2009. The first Studebaker car was an EV that went into production in South Bend in 1902. By the 1950s, however, small manufacturers were being crushed by GM, Ford and Chrysler. I think this Studebaker moved to Colorado in the middle 1970s. You never know what you'll learn from a Junkyard Find !
