Thacker Pass is targeting 80,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) of battery-quality lithium carbonate (Li 2 CO 3 ) production capacity in two phases of 40,000 tpa, respectively (“Phase 1” and “Phase 2”). Construction, including site preparation, geotechnical drilling, water pipeline development and associated infrastructure, has commenced.

Nestlé Waters North America is adding more than 150 medium-duty beverage delivery trucks fueled by propane autogas. Over the vehicles’ lifetime, the 155 Ford F-650 trucks will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 24.6 Deployments in 2016 will include New York City, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Philadelphia and Baltimore.

The first robot I built from scratch was SS MAPR , an autonomous boat for water departments to collect multidepth water-quality data. After six months of 80-hour weeks and sleepless nights, SS MAPR was able to finish its maiden voyage with water samples and data collected from the bottom of the Schuylkill River, in Pennsylvania.
