Amtrak test of B20 snags TIME recognition

The Heartland Flyer operates daily between Oklahoma City and Fort Worth. In previously conducted stationary locomotive engine testing, the B20 blend reduced hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide each by 10%, reduced particulates by 15% and sulfates by 20%. The biodiesel blend is provided by a Texas-based vendor.
