A former Stop & Shop location in Providence, Rhode Island, is expected to be transformed into a new Tesla service center and showroom. Tesla’s first store in Rhode Island opened its doors in July 2019. As per Rhode Island Energy, there are currently about 500 electric vehicle charging stations in the state.

17 States have filed a lawsuit with the Federal Court of Appeals, suing to prevent California from banning new ICE vehicle sales after 2035. California’s Air Resources Board (CARB) is expected to ban the sale of new ICE vehicles after 2035 tomorrow, but 17 State Attorney Generals have sued in federal court to block the move.

The US Environmental Agency (EPA) has granted California’s waiver request enabling the state to enforce its greenhouse gas emissions standards (Pavley I) for new motor vehicles, beginning with the current model year. California requested from EPA the waiver required for implementation of the Pavley regulations in December 2005.
