Poway, California-based Plug In Conversions Corp. kWh NiMH plug-in hybrid (PHEV) conversion kit that enables all-electric mode driving at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour (until the battery pack is depleted) in a converted Prius. The car is no longer limited to 34 miles per hour, all-electric.

The 2022 Ford Escape Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) is powered by a 2.5-liter That number jumps to 105 MPGe, or miles per gallon equivalent, when combining electricity and gasoline. With a plug-in option the Escape can drive all-electric (for more than 40 miles we found). 244 total miles, with 144 all-electric miles.

The EPA fuel economy numbers of 21 mpg city/26 highway/23 combined are almost exactly what we got covering 301 miles driving through Southern California. mpg over a 130-mile run with the adaptive cruise control set at 65 mph.
