Tesla has added a state electric vehicle incentive tool that will calculate both federal and state incentive amounts for customers interested in knowing how much of a break they may receive for buying one of the company’s vehicles. Maryland and California have adopted this strategy in an effort to achieve sustainability goals.

Oregon’s electric vehicle incentive program that was widely publicized for bringing the price of a Tesla Model 3 well below $30,000 is being suspended for a year starting in May because it is running out of money. According to Fox Business , Oregon expects 1.5 million people to be driving EVs in the state by 2035.

” Ford, GM, Stellantis, Toyota push for Congress to eliminate EV tax credit limits. Ford looks to be emulating Tesla, which has limited lease buyouts on a few of its models. In April , Tesla eliminated their lease buyout options completely, never allowing them on the Model 3 or Model Y, to begin with.
