Essentially Bajaj are artificially keeping Chetak production numbers low thus raising less awareness of EV’s so that he can delay the EV movement, which in turn ensures his ICE motorcycle business is not affected. The price definitely seems inflated in our opinion. What do you guys think? And people are not dumb.

Avoid buying EV's from such companies. I will only buy a small electric car that costs less than Rs 6-7 lakhs. Electric Scooter prices are competitive compared to petrol scooters. And if you are spending more than 10 lakhs on a petrol or diesel car, you need to get your head examined or read up on EV's.
