I am building a commuter car for a city with 45MPH speed limits. I attempted to buy a manual rack, but the company said they don't actually have one to sell. They couldn't wrap their heads around the idea I wanted a manual rack, even though I have a car with a power rack. Very good prices.

If I had to do it again, I would definitely send it out for rebuilding by someone else or just purchase a newly refurbished 914 transmission. Evil" who does rebuilds for a very reasonable price. It also provides an excellent place to buy and sell needed parts far more cheaply than other online sources. The old one sold nicely.

Price tag: about $25,000, made from 95% recyclable materials with a top speed of 65 miles per hour and range of 110 miles per charge. In other words, the customer can drive with the peace of mind that everything is taken care of including battery exchanges for the life span of the car. Duh, heres our $40K volt, buy it please?
