The latest DOE data indicates that at the moment, there are only 9 public DC fast charging stations capable of serving Class 6-8 trucks in the US. In 2022, the same three companies agreed to jointly invest some $550 million to build and operate a public charging network for heavy-duty EVs in Europe.
